About

I’m an artist and maker working primarily with beeswax, with a background in Interiors and a love for being surrounded by beautiful things.

My love for wax began in 2020 when I started a candle business, making scented container candles and hand-dipped beeswax candles. What started as candle making gradually became something much more interesting to me: a fascination with beeswax as a material in its own right, the natural colour and scent, that is never the same.

Obsessed with it’s history, its warmth, its imperfections, its origins, its creation. It can be carved, moulded, built, melted and transformed, but it still retains something of where it came from. It feels alive in a way that most materials don’t.

My work has grown from that fascination. I make candles, objects and sculptural pieces by hand, exploring what beeswax can become when carved, moulded and shaped. Making sure the product I use is ethically sourced!

Pony Up is essentially my ongoing conversation with the material — part experimentation, part obsession, and occasionally just seeing what happens.
