It responds to it’s environment;  heat, cold,

light, touch, time + air.  Softens, hardens, crystallises, 

cracks, blooms, changes colour and scent.

Every sculpture starts out as a solid block

of beeswax, ethically  sourced from a female

owned and run farm in Portugal. 

Hand carved, one at a time…slowly, with all

it’ properties in mind.   When the wax

is softer,  beads are rolled and when it’s

harder, carved like wood.  Embracing the

bloom colour changes and textures. every one 

entirely unique.  No artificial scents

are added to maintain the natural fragrance.
