Patty

The Simpsons collection takes elements from traditional wooden carved dolls and twists them through the obscure characteristics of The Simpsons characters.

Patty is inspired by Patty Bouvier’s unmistakable poofy hair, reimagined here as a simple half-circle shape, set above an elongated neck covered in rows of hand-rolled round beads.

Each sculpture is hand carved from a solid chunk of Portuguese beeswax, with every bead individually rolled and shaped by hand. Sculptural in form, they are candles too — made to exist somewhere between object and flame. Ideally not burned.

Homer

The Simpsons collection takes elements from traditional wooden carved dolls and twists them through the obscure characteristics of The Simpsons characters.

Homer bears almost no resemblance to Homer — except for the two things that matter. A perfectly round bald head and a large, round tummy are enough to give him away.

Each sculpture is hand carved from a solid chunk of Portuguese beeswax, with every detail shaped by hand. Sculptural in form, they are candles too — made to exist somewhere between object and flame. Ideally not burned.

Maggie

The Simpsons collection takes elements from traditional wooden carved dolls and twists them through the obscure characteristics of The Simpsons characters. Maggie is built around her unmistakable spiky silhouette, softened into a broad, rounded burst of wax halo on top of her head.

The little prince Bart

The Simpsons collection takes elements from traditional wooden carved dolls and twists them through the obscure characteristics of The Simpsons characters.

The Little Prince Bart is a simple figure with one distinctly Bart-like feature: a strange, carved crown of hair rising from the top of his head. Undecided if he is more of The little prince or Bart Simpson.

Each sculpture is hand carved from a solid chunk of Portuguese beeswax, with every detail shaped by hand. Sculptural in form, they are candles too — made to exist somewhere between object and flame. Ideally not burned.
